Koreas begin clearing landmines from border
Following recent efforts to ease relations between the two Koreas, troops from both nations have agreed to remove some 800,000 mines that are scattered on both sides of the DMZ. The process will begin on the 20th October.

I read that. Good news, but what an almost endless mission. Nearly a million mines that all have to be taken care of with the greatest caution. I hope they can do some of it more efficiently than by foot and hand. Otherwise, it is very likely that lives will be lost during the pursuit.
