Image 1. Click to open in original size.

For years professional footballers have been associated with flashy cars and speeding fines. In fact, admiral insurers even officially name them as the worst speeders of 2017.But it seems they might FINALLY be learning how to drive within the speed limit…

According to this year's research, there's a new occupation taking top spot! It pretty random, so I don't blame you for not guessing it right. Here are 2018's top 10 professions most likely to have a speeding conviction:

1) Locksmith

2) Off-shore rig worker

3) Creative director

4) Professional sports coach trainer

5) Chairman

6) Blind fitter

7) Professional footballer

8)Construction engineer

9) Company director

10) Courier/delivery driver

(Data from https://www.admiral.com/magazine/news-and-current-affairs/top-10-motoring-convictions-of-2018))

Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz GLE was listed as the car model most likely to be caught speeding and over two-thirds of the convictions were listed on admiral by male drivers.

I'll leave you to wonder what they needed to get to so quickly Thinking

You would think that an off-shore rig worker had enough of excitement in their profession to not raise the odds of an accident further. Or they’re just not that smart.

Maybe the locksmiths were driving too quickly to their customers so they could Help them in their houses! It would be a minor emergency after all.
