Unexpected Blossoms in Japan
In an event that only usually happens for a few weeks in spring, sightings of cherry blossoms (or sakura) have been spotted in Japan this week.
Some experts have cited the recent typhoons in the Far-East as a possible cause for the reblooming.
Sadly though due to this they are not expected at all in the next year.
Read more about it here.
I wonder why they expect them not to bloom next year. That they blossomed twice this year sounds like proof they can do it often. We have cherry trees like that in one of Stockholms parks. It looks spectacular during those few days in spring when they blossom. People gather around them like bees.

That is very interesting.

#1 I loved seeing the blossoms in Stockholm. The ones in Kungsträdgården were particularly beautiful!
